With Sound Send Learn technology, users can do it for themselves in their own listening environment, immediately! SoundSense Learn lets hearing aid users gain full control of what they want to hear, right now, in real life. Sound Sense Learn technology was preferred by 89% of test participants over hearing aids without this technology.
Pure Sound Technology
Most hearing aids today take 5-8 milliseconds to process sound. That delay can cause distortion that makes a hearing aid sound artificial or unnatural. Widex’s new Pure Sound Technology is an ultrafast signal pathway that reduces the processing delay by 10-16 times between microphone and receiver to below 0.5 to overcome artificial sound, making it the most natural sounding hearing aid on the market.

Speech Enhancer
Communicating in a noisy environment is one of the most challenging situations for hearing aid users and many experience difficulties focusing on one speaker.
Most top-range hearing aids have some kind of noise reduction system. But noise reduction strategies vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. A recent investigation has shown that most noise reduction systems simply dampen the low frequencies to reduce noise. The risk involved in doing this is that speech cues can also be dampened along with the background noise.
The Widex Speech Enhancer system, on the other hand, is able to reduce noise so that it is under the hearing threshold of the listener while at the same time boosting regions with speech by applying extra gain in these regions.

TECHNOLOGY LEVELS
The Widex Moment/SmartRIC comes in 3 technology levels-premium, advanced and standard. All three technology levels offer Bluetooth wireless connection with Smartphones using the Smart App for phone calls, and user ability to change settings and volume of the hearing aids. All three levels also offer a 3-year manufacturer warranty including office visits.
The differences between the 3 different technology levels are not in the outside design or appearance of the hearing aid, but the computer chip on the inside. Most hearing aid brands look almost the same on the outside. And, all major hearing aid brands manufacture sleek, discreet looking device that are lightweight, very comfortable, durable and secure, even when removing eyeglasses.
